Doctor Who Monster Invasion collection launches
A brand new Doctor Who trading card magazine, Doctor Who Monster Invasion, was officially launched by BBC Worldwide at the start of the month!
The first instalment of the fortnightly magazine is on sale now for the special starter price of £1.50 (£2.60 thereafter), and comes with a multi-player battle mat. Part two and three will come with a TARDIS card holder, and every issue will include a free pack of 9 trading cards, which can also be bought separately for £1.50.
Altogether there are 165 cards to collect in set one, made up of scratch ‘n’ sniff cards, shiny foil cards, a moving lenticular as well as augmented reality cards. Every issue will feature card games, a top 10, a gadget guide and a Where’s the Doctor? picture puzzle.
In addition, the magazine’s official website includes some exciting online games, and there’s also a virtual TARDIS in which readers can store their card collection online.
You can subscribe to the magazine, and recieve exclusive free gifts, by clicking here.
Set 2, featuring 180 new cards, will begin in the autumn to coincide with Series 6 Part 2.

I love Doctor Who and I am pleased my 6 year old son loves the cards-but I think the infinite rare card is irresponsibly too rare-are we al meant to buy an average of 1000 packets(£1500) or buy on e-bay for £100-sheer unadulterated profiteering-Doctor Who and the BBC should be better than that!
I got the Tin for £10 at WH Smith, and got rare exploding TARDIS card, only available in tin. Still not got the Infinite card though. Must be hard to get hold of, like really hard!
guess what! I’ve got the infinite card! got it from 100 packs that got from E-BAY. If you want to get it your’e in a chance of getting it from E-BAY
P.S I am only 8 years old
