Return of Amy’s parents to have “a mixed effect”
SFX Magazine have released a preview of their interview with Karen Gillan which is featured inside their latest issue, on sale now.
In the extract, Karen seemingly confirms that we may get to see more of Amy’s parents in the new series following their return at the end of Series 5. “In this series, we’re starting to get glimpses into other aspects of Amy,” she said. “And having her parents back in her life definitely does have an effect on her. But it’s kind of a mixed effect…”
So, would you like to see more of Amy’s mum and “tiny little” dad? Let us know below!
The new series continues on Saturday with Episode 3, The Curse of the Black Spot.
Take one giant leap for Whovian kind and discuss Episode 2, Day of the Moon!
Yes we should. Doctor Who won’t be the same without it’s family domestics.
Yes they should come back. The Doctor needs to be slapped by her mum lol They need to keep the tradition going.
One word. ‘Amazing.’
Oh, I’d love to see a bit more of Amy’s family. That brief glimpse made them into such background characters, but they’re so important in Amy’s life. A return to Leadworth would be fun. Can you imagine Amy getting awkward, explaining the Doctor to her parents? And then the Doctor being all, well, Doctorish and bizarre, as in The Lodger? That would be brilliant.
@Stephanie
I agree with you on so many levels xD
