The Guardian has released a new interview with Alex Kingston, in which she reveals that Matt Smith often “gets very jealous” of River’s lines!

“I get all the best entry and exit lines,” she explains, before admitting that she feels motherly towards the actor. “Matt’s a great flirt. But I feel… I’m going to make myself sound old, but I feel quite motherly towards him. Maybe not motherly. Actually, I hope he doesn’t regard me as a mother. Older sister, perhaps!”

Alex is starring on stage in ‘Luise Miller’ at the Donmar Warehouse until 30th July.
