The final rating for Closing Time has been revealed!
The twelfth episode of Series 6, which featured the returns of the Cybermen and Craig (James Corden), was watched by an official audience of 6.93million viewers, making Doctor Who BBC One’s 5th most watched programme of the week!

I enjoyed the episode. Never laughed so hard.
As iplayer views/hits are not included the episode probs got about 7 and a half/8 million

These ratings have to get with the times. A lot of people watch this online now

But that isn’t BARB’s job to include or monitor them, hence why the BBC release the iPlayer ratings.
Isn’t it strange that the BBC can give reliable figures for iPlayer but still use a system that has been in place for around 50 years to calculate how many people view programs.
In this day of digital tv, there has toi be a more accurate overall picture put in place.
