Peter Jackson would direct in exchange for a Dalek
Peter Jackson has revealed that he would happily sign up to work on Doctor Who in exchange for his very own Dalek.
Last year the director, who’s best known for his work on the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies, expressed his interest in helming an episode of the show after he told producers to “name a time and place”. He told Entertainment Weekly recently: “They don’t even have to pay me. But I’ve got my eye on one of those nice new gold coloured Daleks and they must have a spare one. Hint, hint.”
Steven Moffat has responded to his comments. “You’d never get information like that out of me,” he said. “We’re on board for anything really, provided we’ve got a great story.”
