Happy National Fish Fingers & Custard Day 2013!
April 3rd, 2013
Today, 3rd April, is National Fish Fingers and Custard Day to mark the anniversary of The Eleventh Hour’s premiere.
On this day in 2010 the Doctor tried his hand at the delicacy and he has hasn’t looked back since.
To mark the joyous occasion Birds Eye have made a special edition packet of fish fingers featuring the Doctor, which has been sent to Matt Smith with a year’s supply of fish fingers – now that is a LOT of fish fingers!
Have you had a celebratory bowl, or two, of fish fingers and custard today? Let us know!
Thanks to Holly (Mischief PR) for the news!
My sister and I had fish fingers and custard and watched The Eleventh Hour yesterday. We did it a day early, because she was going away today.
I have not yet tried fish fingers and custard as well as being keen on trying lembas bread
Fish fingers and then custard is fine, but I can’t imagine what it must be like to have them in your mouth at the same time.
The taste of fish and vanilla, no…….makes me a bit ill thinking about it, lol
I haven’t tried it yet, it sounds really disgusting!
its really not that bad yo cant even taste the custord
The wierd thing is, I didn’t know it was national fish fingers and custard day untill today. Yesterday my friend and I had the fingers whilst watching Doctor Who. Tell me i’m not a whovian!
