Matt Smith is to be involved in an upcoming fundraising gala which will take place at the Apollo Theatre next month.

The event will bring together various stars of the screen and stage including Jude Law and Luke Treadaway for the world premiere of A Curious Night at the Theatre, the specially produced follow-up to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. The play, a detective story, will include a filmed performance from the Eleventh Doctor actor, while fans can also bid to have tea with the Doctor Who star.

The winner of the Time Jump to the Ritz auction will spend an afternoon with Matt who will give a “glimpse of behind the scenes, with stories straight from the Doctor’s mouth”.

A Curious Night at the Theatre takes place at the Apollo Theatre on 1st July – proceeds are to be split between Ambitious about Autism and the National Autistic Society.
