Karen joins cast of ‘The Big Short’

Karen Gillan has joined the cast of The Big Short.
Written and directed by Adam McKay, the film is based on Michael Lewis’ book of the same name and revolves around the financial crisis of 2007–2010. Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling and Steve Carell star as four men who made millions from the global economic meltdown.
No further details about Karen’s role have been revealed but she took to Twitter earlier this week after an “amazingly fun day” filming. It’s due to be released in 2016.
