Dan Starkey has been involved with the development of a new children’s animated TV series called Captain Extraordinary.

The actor, who Doctor Who fans will recognise for his popular portrayal of Strax the Sontaran, lends his voice to the show’s antagonist Prince Piggijak, however the project is still in the early stages of development and its producers Rushfirth Creative have released an animatic trailer to help showcase its concept and characters. Check it out below and support the show on Twitter and Facebook.

The series follows the crazy comic adventures of Captain Extraordinary, voiced by Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis, as he protects the strange and wonderful inhabitants of the Extraordinariverse from the mysterious and fearsome Forces of Extreme Naughtiness.

What do you think of the trailer? Would you like to hear more of Dan’s role? Let us know…
