Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones will be back together in a brand new Torchwood audio adventure, Big Finish has announced.

Set before the events of Children of Earth, Outbreak is a 3-part mini-series in which the test subject of a medical trial gone wrong becomes loose on the streets of Cardiff. While the government tries to control the outbreak, the team finds itself on a mission to uncover the alien hiding within it, however they soon realise that they’ll have to save something even more important than the human race.

Written by Guy Adams, Emma Reeves and AK Benedict and directed by Scott Handcock, Outbreak will co-star Torchwood regulars Kai Owen and Tom Price, reprising their roles as Rhys Williams and Tom Price, respectively.
