Overnight figures show that an unofficial audience of 340,000 tuned in to watch the concluding instalment of BBC3’s Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments series last night.
The final part focused on the best bits of the enemies of the show, and got a 1.7% share of the total television audience.
The ratings are slightly down from that of the opening edition, The Doctor, which pulled in 400,000 viewers when it aired last month. Meanwhile, the second episode, The Companions, attracted an audience average of 290,000.
The official website has released a preview clip of the upcoming final episode of BBC3’s Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments, and the concluding instalment promises to be bursting to the brim with the likes of Daleks, Cybermen and Slitheen, as the celebratory series goes out with a bang looking back over the best bits of the Doctor’s enemies!

Overnight ratings for the second instalment of BBC3’s Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments have been released.
The latest episode, which looked back at the best bits of the companions of the new series, aired on the channel on Thursday night and it has now been revealed that it was watched by an unofficial audience of 290,000 - a 1.5% share of the total television audience.
The celebratory series concludes next week, with the final episode devoted to the enemies of the new series. Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments: The Enemies will air at 8:00PM on Thursday 3rd September on BBC3 – tune in or be deleted!

The channel journeys through space and time as they celebrate the fiesty companions the Doctor has travelled with since 2005.
The current incarnation of the Time Lord himself, David Tennant (The Tenth Doctor) will be on hand to share his favourite new series companion moments, as well as Billie Piper (Rose Tyler), Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones), Catherine Tate (Donna Noble) and John Barrowman (Captain Jack).
Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments: The Companions will air on BBC3 tomorrow night at 8:00PM.
Details regarding the third and final instalment of BBC3’s Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments series have been revealed, and, as we previously reported, the concluding edition will focus on the enemies of the show, as the channel looks back over the fiercest threats that the Doctor has faced since he returned to our screens back in 2005!
It’s not everyday that we take time out to celebrate the villains, but it’s safe to say that without them, the Doctor certainly wouldn’t have as much running to do!

Fans who tuned in to watch the programme on BBC3 last night will have seen some of the Doctor’s best moments from the new series so far, in the the first edition of the new 3-part series celebrating various aspects of the show.
And the festivities continue next week with The Companions, next Thursday at 8:00PM on BBC3!
The official Doctor Who website has today released a preview clip of the first episode of Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments, a new documentary series from the makers of Confidential.
Narrated by Jo Whiley, each instalment of the series will focus on a different part of the revived series, and take a fond look back at the best bits of the subject in question. And in tomorrow’s edition, the celebrations are kicked off as our beloved Time Lord steps under the spotlight!
Episodes dedictated to the companions and enemies will follow over the coming weeks – the perfect thing to occupy our minds while we wait for The Waters of Mars!

The second episode of the special Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments series will be taking a look back at some of the very best bits of the Doctor’s faithful companions, also known as the Children of Time!
The documentary will relive some of their most memorable moments since the programme’s revival back in 2005, with show stars David Tennant, Billie Piper, Freema Agyeman, Catherine Tate and John Barrowman sharing their personal favourite new series companion moments.
The episode is the second Greatest Moments Confidential that is set to air in the run up to the eagerly-anticipated special, The Waters of Mars. The first edition is dedicted solely to the Doctor himself (Next Thursday at 8:00PM on BBC3), and the third is likely to focus on the best bits of the countless enemies to have graced our screens over the past few years.

We’re now just over half way through the dreaded Doctor Who gap year, and, with no new episodes airing until November, BBC3 are taking a trip down memory lane and reliving some of the Time Lord’s best moments since the programme’s revival!
Greatest Moments: The Doctor promises to take fans on a thrilling journey through time and space, as the channel uncovers some of the Ninth and Tenth Doctor’s most memorable moments to date.
His current incarnation, in the form of David Tennant, will also be on hand to share his personal favourite adventures, and the likes of John Barrowman, David Morrissey and Mark Gatiss will guide us through our beloved Time Lord’s best bits too!
Doctor Who’s Greatest Moments: The Doctor will air on BBC3 on Thursday 20th August at 8:00PM. While there’s only news about this episode at the moment, the title of the programme suggests that there may be other editions of the series, with each one focusing on the greatest moments of a different character/villain from the show.
