New look Doctor Who Magazine revealed!
A new era has well and truly begun, and to mark the Doctor’s latest regeneration, the one and only Doctor Who magazine has also changed its face as it prepares to provide Whovians with all the very latest official news on the brand new series!
And the first new look issue features the newly released promotional shot of Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor on its cover, and the new Time Lord actor and Karen Gillan, the actress who will be playing his companion, Amy Pond, are interviewed together for the first time inside!
Also in the issue, which is available to buy in the UK from today, David Tennant reveals what he thought of the Tenth Doctor’s final words, there’s a free giant Eleventh Doctor poster, a competition to win the Complete Specials boxset, and brand new showrunner, Steven Moffat, writes his first ever edition of Production Notes too! Stay tuned!
Wow. the first doctor who magazine with the new logo!
I’ll miss RTD’s Production Notes. I love his tone of writing – I was rereading The Writer’s Tale earlier and remembered why I think it’s the best book in the world. Still, I’m sure the Moff’s are brill, too.
I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting this to look good, but it does, indeed it looks great. I guess I shouldn’t have underestimated the DWM team. This is the first time I have genuinely liked the look of the new logo. As a magazine header, at least, it looks even better than the previous logo.
Totally agree with TSG, I will also really miss RTD’s Production Notes.
I am so glad they redesigned the Logo. The new one looks more solid and impressive than the weak one used for the RTD years. It makes the Mag look more professional and grown up.
