Plot details for The Vampires of Venice

The BBC Press Office has released the synopsis for Episode 6 of the current series, which is listed as The Vampires of Venice. The episode, written by Toby Whithouse, will air on Saturday 8th May at the provisional time of 6:30PM.
Dessicated corpses, terror in the canal and a visit to the sinister House of Calvierri – the Doctor takes Amy and Rory for a romantic mini-break, as the TARDIS touches down once again.
But 17th-century Venice is not as it should be. The city has been sealed to protect it from the Plague, although Rosanna Calvierri may have other plans…

Well, that’s what has apparently been confirmed, and it would make sense considering the clip in the Coming Soon trailer which had Rory in a jacket along with two other people, dressing in a modern fashion (well, modern enough for 2015).
