The Brilliant Book, cover and release details
BBC Books have released the details of a brand new book, entitled The Brilliant Book, which looks set to celebrate the Eleventh Doctor’s first series with exclusive interviews with its head writer, Steven Moffat, and stars Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.
Inside the hardback you can also learn how the Doctor’s costume evolved, how the monsters were made, and what it takes to get Doctor Who from script to screen, as the writers, actors, and directors document production.
At 256 pages, The Brilliant Book of Doctor Who, edited by Clayton Hickman, will be published on September 30th at the RRP of £12.99. You can see its cover below:

Ooh, fantastic! My first non-fiction book on the Eleventh Doctor – I can’t wait!
looks good. says 2011, so there will most probably be more.
This looks so AMAZING. I can’t wait!
Forgot to mention how fabulous the title is. One of the best titles I’ve ever seen. I think I’ll write a book, just so I can title it “The Not So Brilliant Book”. :P
This reminds me of 2006’s The Inside Story. It documented Series 1 and 2’s production as well as looking forward to Series 3 and the Christmas Special. It contained many interviews, monster production etc.
Hoping it’s the same I will definitely be buying this product but I think the cover could be a little better.
I most definitely will be buying this book. Series 5 was excellent.
