Russell promises a “shattering climax” to Miracle Day
Russell T Davies has promised that the fourth series of Torchwood builds to a “massive, shattering climax”.
Speaking about the newly named ‘Miracle Day’ at the TCA press tour, the spin off’s creator explained: “By episode 10, there’s a massive, shattering climax to the whole thing. You find out who lives, who dies, whether they can stop it or not. You get those pictures of things evolving, a hominid turning into a man standing erect. It feels like we’ve stood up tall now, and I can’t wait for you to see it.”
He continued: “It’s a really rigorous premise. There’s some shocking episodes to come. Not only shocking visuals, but some shocking things about people…”
Filming for Miracle Day begins in LA next week, and it will air in the UK/US from July.

Who lives and who dies? But.. but.. there’s only Jack and Gwen left! Well, and Rhys and PC Andy, but I refuse to let them kill off PC Andy. You hear me, RTD? Leave PC Andy alone!
Oh RTD is such a tease he really is this will spark up wonderful theories and such like. When I heard of ‘Shattering Climax’ I thought of maybe Rhys, but they’ve killed hima nd brought him back before..Possible one of two fo the American cast could die, but for the die hard fans that wouldn’t be shattering, upsettign yes, but shattering? I’m still leaning towards Rhys and possible Gwen and Rhys child as well? Although that would make rather upsetting telly, but it would leave Gwen all alone and that’s what Torchwood does to you ‘ You always end up alone?’
A shattering climax? From RTD? My sides hurt from laughing!!!
