Hugh Bonneville has revealed that he has finished filming his scenes for the Series 6 episode he’ll be appearing in.

On Saturday, the actor tweeted: “Thanks to @steven_moffat & the brilliant #DrWho crew for a fantastic fortnight on the high seas. #BeardGone #ColdFace”.

He’ll be guesting as a Pirate Captain in the story, which was partially filmed in Cornwall, alongside Lily Cole, who will play a “mysterious creature” haunting a ship.
