A full length trailer for the new series of Doctor Who is here!
The 60 second preview was released online this afternoon and features an abundance of new clips from Series 6. It’s a dramatic sneak preview of what awaits the Doctor, Amy and Rory in their latest string of adventures.

In the trailer, we’re treated to the traditional ominous and foreboding lines (it wouldn’t be a Doctor Who trailer without them!), as well as our first glimpses of Hugh Bonneville and Lily Cole’s roles in the pirate story. All of that plus epic helicopter shots of Utah, a creepy clown with a balloon and… hold on, is that Amy and Rory in the old TARDIS!?
Meanwhile, Neil Gaiman has revealed on his Facebook that the trailer includes eight shots from his upcoming episode, The Doctor’s Wife. He adds: “I’m a bit excited, because it means it’s really happening.” Don’t worry, Neil – we’re a bit excited too!
“This is the Doctor’s darkest hour. He’ll rise higher than ever before and then fall so much further. This is the day he finds out who I am…”
“I’ve been running my whole life. Now it’s time for me to stop…”
As confirmed by Steven Moffat on Twitter, the trail will debut on BBC One at 8pm.

The thing about the mystery of who River Song is going is a valid point, but at the same time, the suspense being lifted is also a good thing, lol
A lot of things point to River being bad, a major thing being a Dalek begging her for mercy and yet in The Library, she said the last time she saw The Doctor, he’d cried but wouldn’t tell her why and it was because he knew she was going to the library.
I’m confused
He also told her his name, gave her a Sonic Screwdriver and added a device to save her to the CAL system

Er…why is it the 10th Doctor’s TARDIS anyway. Timelords had TARDIS’s and we have no idea if they were all destroyed. Could be Leela in there or Romana, Susan, The Monk, could even be Compassion – The List Goes on.

Fair point. I think its most likely the doctors old one though.
But that regeneration bubble thing, it doesn’t look like the Doctor’s inside it. So maybe it’s like a space/time continuum shield inside Tennant’s TARDIS, which is a bit odd.
Can’t wait for this – does anyone know who produced the trailer music?? Did Two Steps from Hell do this one this year?

At what point is Tennant’s Tardis shown? I’ve paused it on the main Tardis shot and it’s the one from last year. What am I missing?

OK, so can someone tell me, was that the 10th Doctor’s Tardis or the 11th Doctor’s Tardis shooting past at 12-13 seconds, because I couldn’t see the white around the window and the colour looked wrong. I’ve tried to pause it but it’s inconclusive.
I thought it was the 10th Doctor’s Tardis, from what I could see and because of the inside shot we’ve already seen, coupled with the exterior being in the promotional shot.
I also can’t see a St John’s Ambulance on the front, but again, they aint the clearest images
This is the most exciting trailer I’ve seen for a long time! I’m very curious as to see who said “I have killed many Timelords”, I’m assuming that is the silence. The evil clown is just as haunting
This trailer just blew mew away. It really looks like they’ve ramped it up for this season.
And I just have to address the whole 9/10’s TARDIS issue. It’s really that TARDIS-like ship from “The Lodger” (or one just like it). You can also tell if you pause the bit where River’s spinning as she fires her blaster (0:24/0:25) you can see the coffin things around the console. The bit at 0:36 is probably from the same scene. And we already know that one of those TARDIS-things (if not the same one) is going to be in the season.

I thought it had a much simpler, more neural interface
