SFX reveal the title of Neil Gaiman’s Series 6 episode!
SFX have this afternoon exclusively revealed the title of Neil Gaiman’s forthcoming Series 6 episode! You better take a deep breath for this one…
The highly-anticipated episode, Episode 4, guest stars Suranne Jones as Idris, and is called… ‘The Doctor’s Wife’!
Something tells us this revelation will send shockwaves throughout Doctor Who fandom, and you can share your thoughts about the news below!
Speculation surrounding the true identity of Idris has been ongoing, and we’ve been told that she’s a character we’ll remember forever. Steven Moffat fuelled the rumours yesterday when he tweeted: “LOOK WHO IT IS!!!”, and Matt Smith has simply said “Oh, lord!” in regards to the episode. It looks set to be one of the most intriguing yet!
What do you make of the title? Is it as literal as it sounds? Perhaps it’s a red herring?
Break the Silence in our ongoing Series 6 discussion, Silences, Rivers and Songs…
There will likely be some twist, better not to take it at face value; the same way with The Doctor’s Daughter and The Next Doctor. (Hopefully it’ll be a lot better than those two!)
Idris is someone who is beautiful, and who bites, and who might just turn out to be an old acquaintance with a new face… [adding] it starts in void-space, with something – or someone – we have not seen since The War Games, and a knock on the TARDIS door…
. Its a TMATT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was wrong its not a Tmatt but a SIDRAT. That what the Warlord used in the wargames. Its like a Tardis
SIDRAT … IDRIS … TARDIS … all rather similar if you ask me?
