More schedule speculation – no two-parter weekend?
Debate over the scheduling of Series 6 is still ongoing, with fresh information coming out of the woodwork today.
On the topic of bad reviews earlier today, Neil Gaiman tweeted to Steven Moffat: “I may avoid papers & internet May 15th”, which suggests that his episode, The Doctor’s Wife, will be airing the day before, on Saturday 14th May. If this is the case, it looks as if the opening two-parter won’t be shown as part of the Doctor Who weekend we previously told you about.
As you’ve probably already worked out, if the first two episodes were shown over two days, Gaiman’s episode would air the week before, on May 7th, instead. Bear in mind that this is all speculation and nothing has been officially confirmed by the BBC just yet!

I suppose it’d be good in a sense. More weeks on air, the better!
I think it’s safe to say, we will be getting Episode 1 and 2 over Easter Weekend. The Americans are getting both of them the same weekend, and I doubt the BBC would want the Americans to get ahead of us, and the fact people would got seraching for it online once it aired in America.
@Tony
America are getting it over two Saturdays while we will probably have it over one weekend.
