Details have now been released regarding the third episode of Doctor Who Confidential, which will accompany The Curse of the Black Spot by Steve Thompson.

In the episode, entitled ‘Ship Ahoy!’, the Confidential team sets sail for a VIP journey on board the Doctor Who pirate ship, and Karen Gillan explains how she got to grips with swash buckling. Meanwhile, the production team reveals how they created a storm at sea, and there’s interviews with the cast, including guest actor Hugh Bonneville.

Ship Ahoy! will air on BBC Three/BBC HD at 7pm on 7th May, as soon as The Curse of the Black Spot (6:15-7pm) has premiered on BBC One/BBC One HD.
