Unless you’ve been stuck inside the Pandorica for the past few months, you’ll know that this Friday is the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton!
As the Metro reports, one Doctor Who fan has been getting ready to celebrate the occasion in a way that only a Doctor Who fan could – by designing his very own Royal Wedding themed Dalek, complete with tea-serving feature! Chris Balcombe explained: “It’s not every day we get a Royal Wedding, so it was well worth the effort.”
He added: “Our bash is going to be the only street party with a Dalek serving the grub!”
Has this inspired any of you to put your own Whovian twist on your wedding festivities?

SFX have shared an extract from their new interview with Neil Gaiman, in which he briefly talks about a familiar monster that’ll be making a reappearance in his forthcoming Series 6 episode, The Doctor’s Wife!
We won’t say what it is for risk of spoilers, but most of you will no doubt know from the trailers! He explains: “We got to take a Russell monster and bring it back. It’s a nice link between the Tennant era and the current era, and it was nice to bring it back and do something different with it.”
The TARDIS will also play a big part in the story, as the writer teases: “The joy of my episode is that you realise how much of what’s in the TARDIS is probably still in there!”
The full interview will be featured inside SFX Magazine #209, on sale from next week.
John Simm has revealed that he would “certaining consider” returning to Doctor Who if the opportunity were to arise.
The actor – who appeared as the Master in Series 3 and The End of Time – briefly mentioned a potential comeback during an appearance on The One Show earlier tonight. “I would certainly consider it,” he admitted. “There seems to have been a lot of talking about it recently, but I haven’t spoken to anyone about it. I would definitely consider it though. It was such fun to do.”
Would you like to see more of the Master, or has this renegade Time Lord has his day?
