The official Doctor Who site has been releasing a hidden message after each Series 6 episode so far, and, inkeeping with tradition, a new one has been revealed this weekend!
As always, the new message can be found on the Fourth Dimension tab of the latest episode guide, and it simply reads: “Message interrupted”. We wonder…
Not a very insightful piece of the puzzle, but a piece of the puzzle nonetheless!
First message:“All the secrets you seek can be found here on the Webb”…
Second message:“We found your message! You’re alive! But what secrets d’you mean my friend?”
Third message:“I mean I glimpsed him and may the gods help him or perhaps you can”…
Fourth message:“To see what I saw click on the spot beyond the Doctor’s home planet”…

BARB have released the final ratings for Series 6 Episode 2, Day of the Moon.
The conclusion to the US based two-parter was watched by an official audience of 7.30million, which is a 36.7% share of the total television audience. When you put that next to The Impossible Astronaut’s fnal figure of 8.86million, we can see that the new series is doing well, despite the ongoing talk that the 6pm timeslots are having a negative impact on its viewership. Congratulations to the cast and crew!
Although she has to date only appeared on our screens for a matter of seconds, she’s already created quite a stir, so we thought we’d open up a discussion for you to share your own theories about who she might be. Her appearances so far have been centered around Amy, but is she a friend or a foe? Got any ideas? Share ‘em in the comments!
What we DO know is that she’ll be back in Episode 7 (Frances Barber’s CV lists her character as ‘Kovarian’), but will she be pop up again before then? Only time will tell…

Now that the latest episode has aired, the official Doctor Who site has unveiled a new hidden message!
On the ‘Fourth Dimension’ tab on The Curse of the Black Spot’s episode guide, the italic words read: “I mean I glimpsed him and may the gods help him or perhaps you can”. What could it mean? Is it part of a conversation coming up later in the series? Is ist just random jibberish? Share your theories in the comments and let us know what you make of the subliminal sentences…

“I think this episode’s going to be a cracker,” Matt told the website. “I’m a huge fan of pirates, so I was always very excited about this episode. Pirates are groovy, aren’t they? It’s swashbuckling at its best.” Karen agreed: “It is a big swashbuckling adventure. But they go into the story of a little boy stowaway and there’s sadness in there as well.”
“Cornwall felt like we were filming on a movie set,” Arthur continued. “There were loads of people who had come down to watch, so it felt like we were doing a play!”
The site also has 10 teasers for the episode, which airs tomorrow at 6:15pm on BBC1.
In the short but enticing video, Steven Moffat and guest star Hugh Bonneville (Captain Avery) reveal what we can expect from the adventure. “If you’re gonna do pirates in Doctor Who, you’ve got to do the whole thing,” the showrunner explains. “We’re just properly delivering everything you’d want about pirates.” We’d never have guessed!
The episode airs tomorrow at 6:15pm (BBC1), followed by Confidential at 7pm (BBC3).
In the extract, Karen seemingly confirms that we may get to see more of Amy’s parents in the new series following their return at the end of Series 5. “In this series, we’re starting to get glimpses into other aspects of Amy,” she said. “And having her parents back in her life definitely does have an effect on her. But it’s kind of a mixed effect…”
So, would you like to see more of Amy’s mum and “tiny little” dad? Let us know below!

The official Doctor Who website has revealed some new images of Lily Cole as the Siren!
The actress and model will be seen as the “mysterious and beautiful sea creature” in this week’s episode, The Curse of the Black Spot, and, if these pictures are anything to go by, we can say on good authority that things are certainly going to be hotting up for the Doctor, Amy and Rory!
The episode airs on Saturday at 6:15pm on BBC One.

It’s the latest timeslot of Series 6 so far, and, as always, Doctor Who will be followed by Confidential. Confidential will air on BBC Three/BBC HD at 7:20pm, straight after the episode.
Saturday 14th May Doctor Who: The Doctor’s Wife – BBC One/BBC One HD, 6:30pm
Doctor Who Confidential: Bigger on the Inside – BBC Three/BBC HD, 7:20pm
Meanwhile, “Doctor Who is a key part of BBC One’s Saturday night schedule” according to the Head of Planning and Scheduling for BBC One, Dan McGolpin, who has defended its earlier 6pm-ish timeslots to DigitalSpy. “Like last year, this series of Doctor Who is scheduled at start times between 6pm and 7pm on a Saturday night, where it attracts a very strong audience including a large proportion of younger viewers,” he said. “Very few drama series on any of the UK’s channels achieve audience volumes of this size.”

The BBC has today released the official plot details for Episode 5 of the new series, The Rebel Flesh, which is the first part of a two-parter by Matthew Graham.
A solar tsunami sends the TARDIS hurtling towards a futuristic factory on Earth, where human doppelgangers are used to mine dangerous acid.
A second wave hits and the “Gangers” separate. They can remember every second of their “original’s” life and feel every emotion they’ve ever experienced. But are these memories stolen or have they been bequeathed? Are the Gangers merely faulty machinery that must be shut down or are they living, breathing, sentient beings? Can the Doctor convince the terrified humans to accept these “almost people” and prevent an all-out civil war before the factory explodes?
The Rebel Flesh will air on BBC One/BBC One HD on 21st May (time to be confirmed).
