Preview of BBC America’s ‘Doctor Who in America’
BBC America have released a preview of their ‘Doctor Who in America’ special which will be aired this weekend.
The special will air on the channel this Saturday at 10/9c, straight after their premiere of Day of the Moon. As its title suggests, the programme ventures behind the scenes as the Doctor Who team heads to the US for the first time to film Series 6’s opening two-parter, with exclusive interviews with the cast and crew. Episode one, The Impossible Astronaut, broke ratings records for the channel.
Take one giant leap for Whovian kind and discuss The Impossible Astronaut!
“Alex knows… which is infuriating.”
“I keep trying to catch her out, but she will not budge.”
Matt, Karen… we feel for you.
On a slightly more serious front, when was this filmed? It’s been said that we’ll find out River’s identity in episode 7 – has that been filmed yet?
It’s either been filmed or is filming, since they recently revealed the Cybermen are returning in the story, and there was a picture from it.

From Episode Thirteen, by the way, which was the last script to be written. Although, I have no idea whether or not Episode Ten has been filmed yet since only a title has been revealed
