Probably the most scariest moment of DW for me is in the 5th Doctor story, “Time-Flight”.

It’s when Adric – who had just finally been put out of our misery in the episode, “Earthshock”, shows up for a cameo appearance in “Time-Flight”.

PHEWWWW! Man oh man! For that quick, frightening moment, I had thought that Adric was back!

Just thinking about it STILL gives me chills!

Have to be ‘Blink’. Although ‘Midnight’ and when the angel came out of the screen to get Amy in ‘The Time of Angels’ are spooky too. Had nightmares for days!

I’m with most people with “Blink” because most of that episode was freaky! From the easter egg part of the video that kept seeming to respond when Sally was talking to the creepy house where people kept vanishing! Very spooky!

Silence in the library: (1)When Donna almost has the doctor almost convinced the books have come to life and even he jumps when the courtesy node speaks! (2)River’s “Every shadow?” and the doctor is like “No, but any shadow!” and (3)”Hey, who turned out the lights? Donna Nonble has left the library, Donna Noble has been saved…” and how they played off one another!

Midnight: It wasn’t the thing that Sky became that scared me it was the way the HUMANS reacted that did. The way they turned on the doctor and almost drug him to his death all because they were willing to let their fears overtake them!

The One moment that actually gave me chills was the very end of night terrors. The “Even for the doctor” line showing his death certificate. It’s not what alot of people think of as first but that just gave me chills

    1) When the weeping angel popped out of the TV in Time of Angels. Dag, that and The Ring are the scariest things ever.

    2) In Midnight when the humans start dragging the Doctor to the door to throw him out into the xtonic sunlight.

Absolutely anything involving the Weeping Angels, so Blink or Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone for that one.
I agree with comments about bits of Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
And I also think that anything showing the Silence in a creepy way deserves a mention :)

The orphanage stuff in DOTM,especially when Amy is in what appears to be an empty dorm, barring the Silents on the ceiling.

Also, the undertone in which is visible in The Doctor’s voice when he’s speaking to “Colonel Runaway” (after tricking the soldiers into attacking the Headless Monks) I find immensely unsettling.
