Whithouse says new series is “very, very exciting”
Toby Whithouse has revealed that he feels “really honoured and excited to be part” of the next series of Doctor Who.
It was confirmed in DWM at the beginning of the month that the writer has penned an episode for Series 7, which will be “one of the final” stories to feature Amy and Rory. “I can’t tell you anything about my episode because if I did Steven Moffat would come round here and kick me in the shin,” he told the Independent. “But it’s not like any episode I’ve written before, and I really enjoyed writing it.”
Production on Series 7 starts on Monday. You can discuss the latest developments here.
sounds great cant wait to watch it but i hope this series isnt like the last 2 in that when u find out answers to long plot lines even more r open r left unexplianed
@shawn
Well, SM has said that we’re reverting to standalone stories this year, so hopefully that won’t be an issue. :)
@TSG
Hopefully so
@TSG
i hope so but i think 2 part stories r good in the series if theres a good big enough story to tell though
I love the interviews where they come on and say, “Oh it’s going to be great!” What else can they say? “It’s complete rubbish, plan to wash your hair that night?” Come on! LOL!
Seriously though, I have my fingers and toes crossed while waiting for Season Seven!
