An array of familiar faces from throughout the Who-niverse will be taking part in tonight’s Doctor Who Live festivities!

Peter Davison and Bernard Cribbins will join Zoe Ball live in the studio for the announcement of the Time Lord’s newest incarnation, with contributions from Colin Baker, Matt Smith and showrunner Steven Moffat.

Our hero’s ‘classic’ companions Anneke Wills, Katy Manning, Janet Fielding and Bonnie Langford will also be involved.

In addition some of the Time Lord’s celebrity fans will be on hand for the huge unveiling.

Rufus Hound, Liza Tarbuck and Daniel Roche are part of the line-up with additional video contributions from Mark Gatiss, Robert Winston, Jo Whiley, Bruno Tonioli and Brian Cox.

In the one off special, the new Doctor will be revealed before answering fan questions.
