Happy ‘Who’ Year – here’s to 2014 and a new era!
2014 has now arrived so we’d like to wish all of our visitors a very happy and safe new year!
2013 truly was a brilliant year to be a Doctor Who fan as the series celebrated its 50th anniversary in spectacular style.
The year-long festivities culminated in The Day of the Doctor and the historic event has left us all with many memories to cherish as Whovians from around the world came together to salute half a century of time and space. So, what next?
Well, as of the climactic moments of The Time of the Doctor we’ve got a brand new Time Lord (albeit an forgettable one!) in control of the TARDIS and we cannot wait to see what shocks and surprises lie in wait for Peter Capaldi – how will Clara react to his latest face? How will HE react to his latest face? All of the answers, and, undoubtedly, more questions (Moffat! *shakes fists*), will be revealed when Series 8 hits our screens later this year…
Whatever the future holds in the TARDIS, we’ll be here to cover it all as we bring you the latest news, developments and discussions. We’d just like to say a big thanks for sticking with us throughout 2013. It’s been a fantastic year for WhovianNet as our Twitter passed 20,000 followers (if you’re not doing so already, follow us @WhovianNet!), plus we also released our debut book The Doctor & I which is available to purchase now on Amazon.
All in all it’s been a fantastic year (minus the odd Comic Con trailer fiasco…) and the only way is up! New year, new Doctor! We’ve got a feeling this one is gonna be REALLY good…
(albeit an forgettable one!)
You either meant, “albeit a forgettable one!”
or
“albeit, one who might forget a lot of things, such as how to pilot the TARDIS!”
or
“albeit an unforgettable one!”
I’m betting on “an unforgettable one” in more ways than one.
