When ghosts of past and future crowd into their lives, the Doctor and Clara are thrown into an adventure that takes them to the very end of the universe. What happens when the Doctor is alone? And what scares the grand old man of Time and Space? Listen!
Danny Pink returned and the scare factor was cranked up to a whole other level as the new series of Doctor Who continued, but was Listen an adventure that was worth tuning in for?
Tonight’s episode was another Steven Moffat spooktacular as he proved once again that the most ordinary of situations can often be the most terrifying. As the Doctor and Clara were thrown to the very end of the universe, ghosts of past and future crowded into their lives, and the grand old man of Time and Space found out what it’s really like to be on your own.
Our latest installment of TARDIS action proved to be a gripping affair filled with timey-wimey twists and turns, and, unlike every door in your house for the foreseeable future (DON’T open the door…), our discussion is now open for you to share your thoughts…
We look forward to hearing your reactions and don’t forget to check out our interview with the director of the episode, Douglas Mackinnon, and vote in this week’s homepage poll.

That established that *Vastra* liked the ladies, which frankly we already knew. ;-)
And like you, I’m thinking the young Doctor was at a boarding school. I don’t think Time Lord family life would be anything like ours, given their lifespans. Boarding school would probably more the most sense since then at least you’d be around people close to your own age instead of thousands of years older.

“Asylum of the Daleks” the conversation after Oswin saves Rory. The the conversation between Clara and Madame Vastra. You must not have been paying attention.
I watched this episode three times. The first time I thought it was pleasantly scary. The second time I thought it was interesting. The third time I wanted to know why when the only time we actually had a real monster under the blanket we ignored it? Clara basically dismissed the thing as though it never happened and told the doctor the fear was all in his mind. WHAT A CHEAT! It was like once again Moffat decided to change horses mid ride. Why have it if you’re going to pretend it didn’t exist?
What happened to fun loving adventurous Clara? This now “I’m a boring school teacher and full of myself” Clara needs to go away! She’s no Sarah Jane I know but now she’s not even a Perri!
