It’s been confirmed that a preview of the Christmas Special will be shown as part of this year’s Children in Need festivies.

The Twelfth Doctor will return to our screens in the festive episode next month alongside Nick Frost as Santa Claus. The first trailer for the adventure was premiered after Death in Heaven on Saturday and we’ll get another glimpse this Friday during the charity’s annual appeal night on BBC One.

Children in Need kicks off on BBC One on Friday at 7:30pm, with the Doctor Who segment expected to air before 8pm.
