Doctor Who coming to India

BBC Worldwide has signed a new partnership with FX to begin airing Doctor Who in India, it has been announced.

All eight series of the revived show will screen on the channel from 15th May 2015 as part of what has been described as the “largest volume sale of Doctor Who in the country”. The deal will broadcast the Doctor’s 21st century adventures into over a million homes across India.

An FX spokesperson said they are “very excited” to welcome the Doctor to their programming line up.

It was recently confirmed that David Tennant’s episodes will air on Disney XD in the USA.
