With just 4 episodes of Series 9 left, it’s safe to say that we still know next to nothing about this year’s anticipated finale, Hell Bent.

While that ultimately adds to the anticipation, an interesting discussion has begun thanks to a new still from the episode which surfaced online this week. The intriguing image depicts Peter Capaldi as the Doctor in what looks like an American diner, but eagle-eyed fans will notice that it’s the same one that was featured in The Impossible Astronaut following the Time Lord’s death at Lake Silencio in Series 6.

The picture also complements the fact that Clara Oswald will seemingly be taking up a job as a waitress in the finale, which has left us wondering how/if the two are connected and, generally, what the hell is even going on anymore!
