Doctor Who nominated at NTAs
The National Television Awards will take place later this month where Doctor Who will once again be in the running for Best Drama.
There’s only one way to make sure that the world’s longest-running sci-fi franchise adds another trophy to its already overflowing cabinet, and that’s by supporting the Whovian cause – here – before shortlist voting closes at midday on Wednesday 20th January 2016. Doctor Who is up against Downton Abbey, Broadchurch and Casualty in the category, which it has previously won five times.
Other past NTA wins for the series have included Best Male Drama Performance for Matt Smith in 2014, which he also won in 2012 alongside his then co-star Karen Gillan for Best Female Drama Performance. Meanwhile, ever popular Tenth Doctor star David Tennant received a Special Recognition award last year for his contributions to stage and screen.
The National Television Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on ITV on 20th January.
