We’d just like to wish all of our visitors a very safe and Happy New Year!

2015 has been another fantastic year for Doctor Who, with Peter Capaldi’s second string of adventures hitting the airwaves in September and culminating in The Husbands of River Song on Christmas Day. We’ve encountered familiar foes, met new friends, been reunited with some old ones, and lost the most important one of all as Clara Oswald bid her final adieu to life aboard the TARDIS… the long way round. We’ll miss you, soufflé girl!

Life goes on, though, especially when you’re from Gallifrey, so it’s now time to look ahead to what timey-wimey twists and turns 2016 will have to offer. But at the moment, nobody knows for sure. Both Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat have signed up to make 13 more episodes, including a Christmas Special, but exactly when they’ll air is anybody’s guess…

We will, of course, keep you updated with all the developments, but in the meantime we’d just like to thank you all for your ongoing support over the last 12 months, whether you’re a long-term reader or you’re visiting for the first time today. You continue to remind us that the Doctor Who fandom really is the best place to be. Here’s to 2016, Series 10 and the brand new spin off, Class. Whatever happens next, it’s going to be a very good year.
