Miracle Day continued in the UK on Thursday night in Ep 6, The Middle Men, by John Shiban.

The episode aired to mixed but not terrible reviews, as SFX have described it “middling”, while the Independent have admitted that it “ended up being disappointing” in the “action and plot progression” department. Of course, it’s all subject to opinion, so let us know what you thought of it! In the world of ratings, the ep was seen by an unofficial audience of 3.4million, with 5.1million opting for Big Brother instead.

Next week we’ll see Gwen fight to protect her family as she takes a terrifying journey in Episode 7, Immortal Sins, at 9pm on 25th August. See its preview clip and trail below!

In the new 10-part story, premiering July, C.I.A. agent Rex Matheson investigates a global conspiracy when one day, on Earth, nobody dies. All across the world, nobody dies. And then the next day, and the next, and the next, people keep aging – they get hurt and sick – but they never die. The result: an overnight population boom.

With all the extra people, resources are finite, and it is said that in four month’s time, the human race will cease to be viable. But this can’t be a natural event. Someone’s got to be behind it, and the answers may just lie within an old and secret British institute…

doctor-cin-preview-stillIn an interview with the BBC released today ahead of the press screening for part one of The End of Time tonight, David Tennant describes the Tenth Doctor’s final words as ‘absolutely perfect’.

“I thought ‘I can’t believe I didn’t see that coming’, but it’s absolutely perfect,” he told Lizo Mzimba.

“The forces that are gathering are unlike anything we’ve seen before,” the actor said of the Tenth Doctor’s regeneration two-parter. ”They’re terrifying on a whole new scale.”

He added: ”We’ve told that he will knock four times, and that something’s coming back, and I think we’ve managed to keep a few surprises for Christmas. Even if people think they know what’s coming, I think they might be surprised.”
