Wales Online have reported that filming for next year’s series of Torchwood, The New World, will begin in the US on January 11th 2011, lasting for 7 months.

The date is confirmed in an interview with Eve Myles, who will be reprising her role of Gwen Cooper in the 10-part story. She said: “I know we’ll be doing something extraordinary out there and I want it to do well.” The article also suggests that the crew will be back in the UK for a fortnight ”at the end of January” to film on location in Wales.
