Gareth Roberts to write for Series 5?

May 18th, 2009

smith_11Gareth Roberts will write an episode for the fifth series of Doctor Who, according to his agency website.

His television credits on the portfolio were recently updated to include DR WHO, Series V, 1 Episode.

Roberts is no stranger to the show, having previously written Series 3’s The Shakespeare Code and last year’s popular Series 4 adventure The Unicorn and the Wasp. As well as co-writing this year’s Easter special, Planet of the Dead, with Russell T Davies, he’s also penned episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures, and is returning for the CBBC spin-off’s third series which will tranmist this Autumn.

Of course, don’t accept anything as fact until there’s official confirmation from the BBC – but a writer’s agency portfolio is much more reliable than, say, a report in The Sun newspaper…

She was only copying what RTD did with the Cult of Skaro in Doomsday.

But that was FUNNY because it was daleks bitching at cybermen (a different species). This is the actual line that backs up my theory of helen raynors daleks “Dalek Thay…” “Yes…” “What do you make of dalek sec?” (dalek jasp looks round) “I think he has gone mad” WTF???? She might has well have had them painting wach other’s plungers and discussing whos the fittest ood!

It wasn’t funny at all. In fact, in my opinion, Doomsday – and Series Two in general – was dire.
