Filming moves to Croatia
December 1st, 2009
The BBC have confirmed that the cast and crew have travelled to Croatia to film scenes for an upcoming episode of the fifth series of Doctor Who.
Production is currently taking place in the city of Trogir, and Matt Smith and Karen Gillan have already been spotted filming out on location, which has been made to look like an historic market-stall, so we can presume that the episode in question is set in the past!
Series 5 of Doctor Who is due to air from next Spring.
I’m loving all this travelling! The Fires Of Pompeii had a great feel to it. A change of scene (and weather) is nice once in a while :D
@Flick
I agree lol :D
*SPOILERS*
Oh, sorry to double-post, but this episode is apparantly *spoilers* set in Venice and features vampires. Apparantly, another character in this episode is Amy’s boyfriend, Rolf/Roy/Ross (Can’t remember which name I read). Any ideas lol?
Wow, sounds good! Glad they are filming abroad again! :D
Vampires? *Bites lip* Not sure about that. There’s so much vampire stuff around at the mo – I’d stay well away. Then again, who am I to question? And of course it may not be true.
This is Doctor Who, remember. They could take vampires up another level, if they wanted to. Plus they’ve brought in loads of “enchanted” creatures such as the werewolf and the witches (carrionites) and those episodes turned out enjoyable.
Hmm… I think we’ve all had quite enough of vampires for the moment.
