DigitalSpy have today released a preview of their upcoming interview with Steven Moffat, in which he reveals that he found it thoroughly enjoyable to write the Eleventh Doctor’s first words, as seen at the end of The End of Time, Part Two!

“It took me ten minutes to write, if that,” the new showrunner said. “I just added that bit on the end. I added some fun banter for Matt, but it wasn’t difficult, it was a great pleasure.”

He added: “It was so lovely for Russell to let me do that. Russell, being Russell, said that I must have the first words, so that was just really great. It was one of the most fun things I’ve had to do!” Geronimo!
