More Series 6 guest stars, Episode 4 title revealed?
Some interesting news has surfaced today regarding the fourth episode of Doctor Who Series 6, the episode currently being filmed in Cardiff!
So far we know that the story is written by Mark Gatiss and directed by Richard Clark, however the agency profile of one of its guest stars has seemingly revealed its title too! Jamie Oram will be appearing as George (or possibly Harry…) in the episode, which, according to his credits, is called What Are Little Boys Made Of?.
While this is a reliable source, it’s by no means an official confirmation, so it’s worth pointing out that it could simply be a working title. In the past, episode titles have been known to change just weeks before their transmission. But it’s nice to speculate, right?
As some of you may know, What Are Little Boys Made Of? is a popular nursery rhyme which dates back to the 19th century. The poem suggests that boys are made of ‘frogs and snails and puppy-dogs tails’, while girls are ’sugar and spice and all that’s nice’.
In addition, we’ve heard word that Emma Cunniffe (The Lakes, Clocking Off) and Daniel Mays (Ashes to Ashes, Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang) will be playing George/Harry’s parents. Let us know what you make of the latest developments below!
the title sounds very scary
Fantastic cast members, a nice nostalgic title, and another awesome story of Mark’s that will probably follow the others and be set in the past.
hhhmmmm sounds rather intresting, am liking the casting (DANIEL MAYS) rolling out the names at last, lets hope they continue with some well establishied actors this year?
Ooh is this going to be something like The Empty Child with really creepy children? Because as much as I love children they are great at scaring the **** out of people.
No matter what, I can’t wait!
I m sure that is how they will get over to may regenerations by using nano genes and then a previous Doctor can come back by replicating a particular form
sounds creepy and like a fairytale. If the episode is based on the poem then it could be similar to the torchwood story faires in season one.
sounds really creepy like aliens might have made versions of kids that you can’t tell apart or something. children can be creepy at the best of times!
