Filming for Series 6 of Doctor Who begins tomorrow
Richard Clark has confirmed on his Twitter that filming for Series 6 of Doctor Who will begin in Cardiff tomorrow!
The first production block will consist of Episodes 3 and 4, which are written by Neil Gaiman and Mark Gatiss, respectively. The director will be helming both stories and tweeted: “Back in Cardiff. Ep3/4 kicks off 8am. Let the fun and games begin.” It is thought that production is starting slightly later than usual this year as a result of the recently announced mid-series split.
It has been confirmed that fandom will be hit by an ‘Earth-shattering’ cliffhanger at the end of Episode 7, after which we’ll have to wait until autumn 2011 to see the resolution.
We’d like to wish the cast and crew the very best of luck as they embark on filming!
As always, we’ll be bringing you all of the latest developments as they happen.
