This summer, BBC Books will be re-releasing six of the Doctor Who classic series novelisations with added newly-written introductions!

Neil Gaiman, who has written an episode for the forthcoming series, has put pen to paper to write an introduction for Doctor Who and the Daleks. Actor Charlie Higson has contributed to the reprint of Doctor Who and the Crusaders, while Doctor Who and the Abominable Snowmen will be introduced by author Stephen Baxter.

Doctor Who and the Auton Invasion is to be introduced by former showrunner Russell T Davies, and writer Gareth Roberts has written one for Doctor Who and the Cybermen. Finally, Terrance Dicks - former script editor on the series - has written an introduction for Doctor Who and the Cave Monsters. Each of the titles will be published on 7th July, at the RRP of £4.99. Will you be adding them to your collection?

I’d love to have novelisations of the new series. Actually, I’d love to have the job of writing the novelisations for the new series. Hey, BBC, fancy it?

I long ago managed to buy all the novelisations. But I’ve been saying for ages that they should be re-issued. What better than these 150 page books to encourage reading?

And yes, the new series should be novelised in the Target format too!!! I WANT THEM!!!!! :P
