Release date set for Series 6, Part 1 DVD and Blu-ray

The first half of the new series hasn’t even hit our screens yet (not long now…), but you can already pre-order the boxset online!
The 2-disc set, containing the first 7 episodes of Series 6, will be released on 11th July. The DVD will have an RRP of £24.99, while the Blu-ray will cost £29.99. At present, you can pre-order it from Amazon.co.uk (DVD/Blu-ray) and Play.com (DVD/Blu-ray). You can also see its draft artwork – sporting the Series 6 iconic image – below.

I’ll pick this up straight away this time. With a preorder price around £18 (for the bluray) I won’t want to wait for the boxset (provided it includes 5.1 sound). Now that the BBConeHD ident is in the corner I can’t wait for the boxet in December. Hopefully, the complete set won’t include too many exclusive extras. I can live without the Confidentials
