What is YOUR favourite Eleventh Doctor moment?
It feels like only yesterday Matt Smith popped his head out of the TARDIS in The Eleventh Hour but in 17 days we’ll be saying goodbye to the raggedy man who made bow ties, fezzes and stetsons cool.
The Eleventh Doctor will face his last curtain call in The Time of the Doctor on Christmas Day and to build up to his grand exit we’ll be revealing his top 10 moments to date, as voted for by you! Keep reading and find out how to get involved in our celebration of his magnificent era…
Before we can open our final poll, we need YOU to tell us your favourite Eleventh Doctor memory of all time. His time in the TARDIS has been full of classic moments so it won’t be an easy decision, but if you scratch your heads we’re sure you’ll be able to think of a particular quote or scene that sticks out in mind. We’ll for me there are so many great moments. But I think my most favorite is at the end of series 5 when he goes back to young Amelia’s house and tells her a story. Also my second would be him dancing at Amelia’s wedding.
Any time he goes off on a rant. What I love about Matt’s portrayal of the Doctor, is he captures the genius. See, a genius doesn’t just stand in front of a bunch of people with is arms to his side drawling on about stuff with their arms clamped firmly to their side. No, a genius will talk with their hands, making big stupid movements that don’t mean anything. It helps to organise thoughts as you speak, and considering the Doctor is a Time Lord and very clever, he’d be doing that. Matt does it. He paces, he draws in the air, he talks with his hands – he really BECOMES the Doctor.
So yeah, my favourite 11th Doctor moment is any time he ever goes off into a little rant about anything because he draws on that energy and moves around a lot and it’s just so right.
A lot of people hold this against Matt but, let’s face it, those people are stupid.
A somewhat obscure one, but memorable all the same:
“I’ve seen many things, my friend, but you’re right: nothing quite as wonderful as the things you see.”
Shows a more thoughtful side to this incarnation.
I have a lot of favourite 11th Doctor moments, but my top four are 5)The Bells of Saint John, riding the motorbike on the Shard, crashing the motorbike in Mrs Kizlet office ,revealing himself to be a spoon head droid and downloading Mrs Kizlet so Clara and the others would be released. That was such a wonderful cheesy and awesome moment.
4) Good man goes to war. Shouting at “Colonel Runway” That brilliantly showed how much the Doctor cares about Amy and how angry he will become if his loved ones get endangered. And then he tops it by saying “I’m angry, that’s new.”
3)The Big Bang. Sitting next to little Amelia and telling her as story. That was such an emotional moment.
2) The Pandorica speech, pure awesome, I think it was at this point that I finally let go of the tenth Doctor and truly accepted the 11th.
1) Giving his memoires to the “God” That was brilliant, emotional and powerful.
Let’s not forget the moment He realizes Amy Is doomed in the Angels take Manhattan… Everytime he has been emotional, That deep sadness got me… But let’s face it, Matt Is SO good at speeches and spinning like crazy… I also love any épisodes he gets to act with children… He’s Great with them! Well, as an Eleven fan… I basically am amazed everytime I see him ! Lol
My favorite rant is, “Nobody human has anything to say to me today!”
My favorite episode is, “”The Pandorica Opens”

My favorite Matt moment is anything with Matt and Amelia. When it comes to understanding children Matt is second to none! Hats off to the time he spent with Alfie, or Little Stormie!
