S8 soundtrack details, track list revealed
Silva Screen has confirmed that they’ll be releasing the official Series 8 soundtrack next month.
As always, all of the music heard throughout Peter Capaldi’s debut string of adventures was written by resident composer Murray Gold, conducted by Ben Foster and performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. The 3-disc set will compile all of the highlights including the Twelfth Doctor’s theme A Good Man? (Twelve’s Theme).
It will also include music from Last Christmas.
The CD comes with an extensive booklet containing notes from Murray Gold while the first 5,000 copies will include an extra 16 page booklet depicting the retro posters as designed by Stuart Manning for Radio Times. One for every episode will be packaged in a slip case.

Looking a bit sparse. b=
Awesome, though. I’m glad we FINALLY have an OST with the theme song included. The lack of a S6 (yes it’s slightly different) and S7 theme song release was really annoying.
