The Pyramid at the End of the World was watched by an official audience of 5.79 million viewers in the UK, it has been confirmed.

As expected, the final BARB rating for the seventh episode of Series 10 has seen a considerable rise from its initial overnight of 4.01 million, making Doctor Who the 14th most watched programme of the week, and the 6th highest across the BBC.

The new series continues on Saturday in Empress of Mars.
