First Christmas Special teaser trailer released

The first teaser trailer for this year’s Doctor Who Christmas Special has been released online following its debut at San Diego Comic-Con.
The festive episode – which was named as Twice Upon a Time during the cast and crew panel – will serve as Peter Capaldi’s final voyage as the Twelfth Doctor and will guest star David Bradley as the First Doctor and Mark Gatiss as the Captain. Pearl Mackie will also be reprising her role as Bill Potts in the seasonal adventure, which is the last episode to be written by outgoing showrunner Steven Moffat.

LOVE how the footage morphs from William Hartnell into David Bradley. Largely seamless.

This is going to be brilliant! I hope it’s a long episode, needs to be to contain both Doctors and a Regeneration satisfyingly!
Interesting to see a glimpse of the 1st Doctor’s companion Polly in the new episode too and to see the 1st Doctor displaying regeneration energy like the 8th Doctor onwards. Not too sure about that last point at the moment.
