The Series 10 finale, The Doctor Falls, was watched by an official audience of 5.3 million viewers in the UK.

Now that the consolidated figures have been released for all of the episodes, the series average has been calculated as 5.45 million, which is down on the averages for Series 9 in 2015 - 6.03 million - and Peter’s first series, Series 8, which averaged 7.4 million viewers in 2014.

As expected, this year’s highest rated episode was the series premiere, The Pilot, with 6.68 million.
