The Royal Mail has announced they’ll be releasing collectible Doctor Who stamps to celebrate the 50th anniversary.

The special set will be available in post offices across the UK from 26th March 2013 and can be pre-ordered online here.

Each of these stamps features one of the Doctors in front of their respective iconic swirling screen ident. In addition, a 5 stamp miniature sheet will also be made available, featuring the TARDIS and some of the Doctor’s most famous foes.

“We’re delighted to be able to celebrate this remarkable 50th anniversary,” said Andrew Hammond, Managing Director, Stamps and Collectibles at Royal Mail. “These stamps pay tribute to all the brilliant actors that helped make the show so popular over the years.”
