Xmas special preview for Children in Need!

November 12th, 2009

tenth_doctor_defaultThe latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine (#415, out today) has confirmed that the Christmas special preview to be shown during this year’s Children in Need will be a specially packaged clip from the festive episode, made up of its fourth and fifth scenes.

It was reported that its pre-titles sequence would transmit as part of BBC1’s charity telethon on Friday 20th November, however Russell T Davies has revealed that it’s too early to show it as the opening scene contains too many spoilers.

The preview, which, according to Radio Times, will air at some point between 8:00-8:30PM, features a voiceover from a Hollywood actor who the outgoing showrunner describes as a ‘wonderful and distinguished’ star. The same actor will also be providing the voice of the aliens in the two-parter.

sorry I thought I was not doing anything wrong by giving away the actors name or what W.O.M. stood for, i dont think it really is a plot spoiler

We’re trying to keep discussions as spoiler-free as possible until The Waters of Mars has aired, and we removed your comment because it included details that could be considered as potential spoilers, as it was information that hasn’t yet been officially released.
