Christmas special rumours from the Daily Star
It was only a matter of time before the Daily Star started divulging their new series ’secrets’, and their latest seemingly reveals the monster - or one of - that the Doctor, Amy and Rory will be facing in the Christmas special.
As Orange reports, the tabloid has claimed that the trio will be encountering a flying shark in the festive episode, which is currently being filmed in Cardiff with guest stars Michael Gambon and Katherine Jenkins. A show source told the newspaper: “Even the Doc gets a fright.”
What do you make of the latest rumour? Is it pure fabrication as a result of a slow news day, or could there be any truth behind the speculation? Share your thoughts below!
Doesn’t seem a likely one to me. And when have these EVER turned out to be right? Although… bearing in mind that it’s filming at the moment, it’s presumably easier to find out what’s going on – just head down to Cardiff and see if you can snoop on any location filming. But you wouldn’t be able to see the shark, since it would be presumably CGI, so snooping wouldn’t work, so… I’ll go with my original statement.
A flying… shark.. Well it’s Doctor Who, anything could happen but I’m really doubting this rumour. Slow news day for The Daily Star, I think.
Yeah, because the Doctor’s fought flying sharks in his past or present… Nothing in the Daily Star is worthy quoting as news.
Something fishy about this tale, rather one thinks it’s a load of old cods-wallop lol
I’m surprised no pics have leaked out yet, it’s been filming for a while, hasn’t it??
so we’re all expecting to see flying sharks this Christmas….. oh and along with Joanna paige *rolls eyes*
@TWWL
All I’ve seen so far is the pictures of Matt’s new jacket.
@TWWL
Also, they’ve spent quite some time doing indoor filming which is probably the reason why there haven’t been many set photos.
It’s the Daily Star, it’s very difficult to believe anything they say since they’re almost always wrong, but I don’t know, maybe one day they’ll strike lucky and actually guess something right, but then, one of us is more likely to
ive only seen 3 pictures from the filming….
There’s a flying shark at the end of “TARDIS” the game.
